The following are common medical equipments used in a primary care setting:
  1. Stethoscope
  2. Sphygmomanometer - manual and electronic
  3. Weight/ Height scale
  4. Measuring Tape
  5. Pen torch/ torch light

  8. Tendon hammer
  9. Thermometer - manual (mercury) and electronic (ear, oral, axilla)
  10. Otoscope
  11. Opthalmoscope
  12. 128 Freq Tuning Fork
  13. Peak Flow Meter
  14. Glucometer
  15. ECG
  16. Spirometer
  17. Snellan test
  18. Fluorescein eye stain

 All primary care medical students should know how to use these equipments by heart.
